At a venue one night in November 2016, Marco’s group of associates sat at a desk subsequent to Maria’s, and her buddy seen that he saved glancing over. Maria acknowledged him at a membership later that evening and determined to introduce herself. Marco’s first phrases to her had been, “I’ve a sister named Maria.” The 2 laughed, exchanged cellphone numbers, and two weeks later, they went on their first date. “From then on, our love for one another grew rapidly,” shares Maria.
The subject of engagement was introduced up (by coincidence) when the pair first met. That night, Maria shared with Marco that her dream can be to get engaged in Santorini, Greece. “I assume we knew it was meant to be,” says Maria. Three years later, the couple took a memorable journey to the island. On August 2, 2019, they had been having fun with a romantic night absorbing certainly one of Santorini’s well-known sunsets when Maria seen Marco performing unusually. He then requested to stroll her to a particular location by the Grace Resort the place they had been staying (and the place the sundown was much more stunning!), and once they arrived, he bought down on one knee and proposed!

The ceremony befell on the Canadian Memorial United Church. Maria remembers the ceremony as a ravishing second. “The officiant spoke so nicely and made us chuckle,” she shares.
It had been a dream of Maria’s to put on a robe by the Australian design home Pallas Couture. Alongside her mom and sister, she traveled to New York to attend the designer’s trunk present seeking the right robe and located it. On the marriage day, she wore her dream gown with diamond equipment gifted to her by Marco. Her bracelet was gifted to her the morning of the marriage day.
As a brand new mother, Maria’s largest precedence was ensuring that the marriage day would run with none hiccups — an accomplishment she credit to her wedding ceremony planners at Countdown Occasions. “I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders the day of. My wedding ceremony day ran so easily!” she shares.
The reception befell on the Fairmont Resort Vancouver. The Pacific Ballroom completely sparkled with the white and gold design that included dreamy florals and tons of of candles.
A lounge space was adorned with blush pink velvet furnishings and a neon signal studying “So This Is Love.”
The focus of the room was a 24-foot-long head desk overflowing with white and blush-hued florals from Tala Florist.
Clear acrylic place playing cards with gold calligraphy had been created by a buddy of the bride.
