TORONTO — Liberty Leisure Group’s (LEG) newest restaurant idea, DaNico, has opened at 440 Faculty Avenue in Toronto.
The 60-seat restaurant is helmed by govt chef Daniele Corona, who was beforehand govt chef of LEG’s Don Alfonso 1890 Toronto. Below his management, Don Alfonso 1890 was awarded a Michelin star in 2022; named Finest Italian Restaurant within the World 2021 by 50 Prime Italy; and awarded Meal of the 12 months 2021 Mulino – Caputo Award for its multi-course prix-fixe tasting menu.
At DaNico, chef Corona’s signature menu focuses on the trendy Italian culinary custom, mixed with trendy Asian influences. Designed by Nadia Di Donato, VP Inventive director at LEG, DaNico is housed within the previous Scotiabank constructing, and the unique financial institution vault now holds wine.
