Born in Morocco and raised in Belgium, photographer Mous Lamrabat studied as an inside architect earlier than stepping into pictures. Drawn to the creativity and immediacy of the medium, Lamrabat has reinvented style pictures along with his sense of irony, critique of consumerism, and cultural references. His work performs on concepts of luxurious, counterfeiting, and the pure surroundings of his birthplace. Showcasing Morocco from a brand new perspective, his topics typically seem in conventional clothes (niqabs, abayas, kaftans) alongside the iconography of well-liked Western model and popular culture.
