Jeff Rosenstock is again. The eccentric musician is making a grand return with the brand new tune “Appreciated U Higher,” in addition to an announcement of tour dates for this fall. It’s his first new single since 2020’s No Dream.
“I really feel like I’ve been speaking in my songs for the previous couple of data about these systemic points that simply hold getting worse and worse,” the Laura Stevenson collaborator instructed Uproxx about that album. “It’s irritating that that form of sh*t continues to be relatable.”
“Appreciated U Higher” finds Rosenstock turning to extra private lyricism: “I appreciated you higher once you weren’t on my thoughts,” he sings because the effortlessly catchy hook.
