Positioned adjoining to the InterContinental Sydney, Bar Messenger is a 120-seater, artwork deco, wine bar.
Venue Supervisor Aaron Rothe is behind the venue’s wine checklist, which is a showcase of Australian producers.
A few of the manufacturers on pour embody Mulpha Hospitality Group wineries like Bimbadgen and Alter from the Hunter Valley, alongside others like S.C. Pannell and Henschke.
To pair with the wine, Bar Messenger presents a grazing menu of small share plates, toasties, cheese and charcuterie boards.

The artwork deco inside is the work of Brisbane-based architect Simone Barr of DAARC who took inspiration from the constructing’s heritage.
The Bar Messenger emblem additionally pays homage to the sculpture of messenger of the Roman Gods Mercury by Australian artist Raynor Hoff.
Bar Messenger is open Wednesday to Sunday and is positioned at 10 Phillip Road, Sydney.
