With the encouragement of a pal, Latoya Reeves first launched herself to Mario Grant on a GO Transit bus at Yorkdale Station in Toronto eighteen years in the past. The couple dated for eleven years earlier than Mario proposed!

The intimate wedding ceremony ceremony was officiated by Latoya’s pastor of a few years, Pastor Winston Hurlock, who christened the couple’s daughter.
The marriage occasion included the couple’s daughter Xari as their flower lady, their dad and mom, Latoya’s cousin because the maid of honour, and a pal as one of the best man.
The cocktail hour and reception came about at THE ARLINGTON ESTATE. . The primary included a black and white floral-print smoking jacket with a peaked velvet lapel which was worn for the ceremony to go with the floral gildings on Latoya’s robe. He accessorized with a two- toned ROLEX watch.
Wanting a cake that was easy but stylish, Latoya labored with the couple’s long-time confectionary designer Stefania of SPECTACLE OF SWEETS to design a four-tier vanilla-flavored wedding ceremony cake with textured fondant and buttercream icing. The design included a chic clear cake stand between the third and ultimate layers of the cake.
For her reception costume, Latoya flew to Dallas, Texas, a complete of thrice to go to designer ESÉ AZÉNABOR’s atelier — the ultimate flight being canceled by the airline and rescheduled for the week of the marriage! Finally, she obtained the robe in time to be worn on the massive day. She became the design after the primary dance. The robe featured a corset bodice paying homage to her ceremony robe and complicated beading and lacework.

Juno Award-winning musician Carlos Morgan was the soloist for the marriage. Cultural leisure was offered by metal pan-player Ken Lewis on the cocktail hour. Extra leisure included a pianist, saxophonist and vocalist through the ceremony and a dwell band on the reception.
To thank company for attending the marriage, the couple gifted everybody with blond-chocolate “tablets” infused with jasmine flower petals.
