The Amsterdam Gentle Competition has returned, and with it, a startling new set of light-based public works are on show by way of Jan. 19. “Disturbance lies on the coronary heart of the exhibition of the eighth version of the Amsterdam Gentle Competition with its theme ‘DISRUPT!’” the occasion says. “Artists, designers, and designers had been challenged to query, check and shake up Amsterdam in alignment with the theme.” Pictures by Janus van den Eijnden.
