Windsor knot

This tie knot, also called the double knot, was popularized by the duke of Windsor. It presents a significant volume. It is worn with wide collars (Italian collars...), however it does not work well with silk woven ties due to their thickness. This is a knot that must be perfectly symmetrical to be successful. To make this tie knot, we advise you to place the tie in a way that the wide tail hangs over the thinner tail by about forty centimeters.
